Our forthcoming third location in Long Island City deepens our Queens roots and explores the coexistence of old and new—within beer and, on a larger scale, culturally. 

This 3,800-square-foot taproom and brewery is set on the ground floor of the brand-new, 71-story Sven residential building, which dramatically curves around and incorporates an iconic piece of New York City architectural history: the Long Island City clocktower. An official landmark, the beautiful brown-brick structure became the borough’s first skyscraper when it was opened by the Bank of Manhattan in 1927. Here, we will pursue ancient methods of fermentation, some of which will be done in wooden and ceramic crocks, and allow us to showcase our expanding mixed-culture program. These sour and wild beers will include New York-grown fruits and other local ingredients.

Finback LIC is slated to open in Fall 2023.
